Marc Greenberg, CFA, has been following stocks and markets since graduating from Tufts, but experience has been the best teacher, working first as both buyside analyst and PM then 10 years on the sell side as an II-ranked senior analyst and co-head of associates at Deutsche Bank and finally as a Director of Research at three leading buyside hedge funds.

As Director of Research and Head of Professional Development at Point72, he created a new business called Idea Lab, a quantamental approach that worked closely with the firm’s data teams, developed tools, and applied machine learning techniques to both problem solving and getting the most from investment professionals. He worked diligently to integrate data into processes and decision-making, shared the best of what they learned.

Marc then moved to a new firm called Cinctive Capital, working collaboratively to put talent, processes, and tools in place before day 1 and seeing it successfully grow to over $1 billion. Before starting Greener Pastures this year, Marc also served as Director of Research at J. Goldman & Co.
